Wraparound Care & Nursery Environments

We offer wraparound provision to a number of local primary schools for parents who require childcare where you drop off and collect from one point and we manage the school drop offs and pick ups. We currently offer this with Marlborough Primary School  and Howardian Primary School. We also have these schools coming soon based on demand: Roath Park Primary School, Tredegarville CIW Primary School, Adamstown Primary School, Stacey Primary School, Albany Primary School and Baden Powell Primary School. We care for up to 56 children, aged 6 weeks to 5 years, across beautifully designed rooms for each age group that feel calm, natural and truly “like home.” Each space is thoughtfully arranged to promote emotional security, meaningful exploration and child-led discovery — the foundation of all early learning.

As a Montessori-inspired, eco-conscious nursery, we blend gentle care with high-quality Early Years Education, rooted in the Curriculum for Wales. Children enjoy rich daily experiences: sensory play, practical life activities, baking, gardening, imaginative play, storytelling and outdoor exploration. Every day is unhurried, purposeful and filled with opportunities to grow at their own pace.

Nutritious food is at the heart of daily life at Roath. Our trained chefs prepare fresh, meals onsite, carefully tailored to each child’s needs. Children enjoy colourful, balanced plates that encourage positive eating habits, sensory exploration and confidence around food.

We are proud holders of the Gold Snack Award, celebrating our commitment to children’s nutrition, healthy eating and eco-friendly practice. From fresh, homemade meals prepared onsite by trained chefs to recyclable nappies, natural products and our low-plastics ethos, sustainability and wellbeing are embedded in everything we do.

We cater for all allergies and dietary requirements safely and inclusively.

Outdoor Exploration

Our Roath garden offers a beautiful natural space where children can:

Outdoor time forms an essential part of the rhythm of our day.

We also love getting out in the community and regularly make trips to our amazing local surroundings. We are located beside multiple parks and outdoor spaces to explore and we regularly do trips on our minibuses to other local attractions. Learning about the world and getting out to explore the places around us are a key part of our ethos and curriculum.
